Who we are

Honest Bob Co is a small, independent brand written by a working plumber. We make plain-spoken homeowner printables, like winterizing checklists, a burst-pipe fridge sheet, a 12-month maintenance planner, and a water heater log, plus trades-humor gear for the people who do the work. Our mascot is Bob, a plumb bob, and our promise is simple: straight talk, fair prices, no upselling.

Our audience is two groups local businesses want to reach: homeowners who want to take care of their house, and tradespeople who take pride in their work.

What you get from Bob

  • A co-branded homeowner checklist or referral card with your company name, logo, and phone number. Your techs can leave it behind after a service call. Topics can match your trade: a winterizing checklist, a furnace and filter reminder sheet, or a “where's your shutoff” card.
  • Everything in the standard sponsor package: the website “Supported by” spot, the co-branded free printable, and social shout-outs.

What we ask in return

  • Share Honest Bob Co with your customers by handing out the card or checklist, which points them to honestbobco.com.
  • Help with a short feedback questionnaire. We'll send a few quick questions to pass along to your team or customers about our checklists and gear: what's useful, what's confusing, and what they'd want next.

Why it works: your customers get something practical to keep on the fridge with your number on it, and we get honest feedback from real homeowners and tradespeople. That feedback makes our printables better, and we'll share what we learn with you.

We'll agree on the details together, including the design, the quantity, and any cost, before anything is printed. We don't make promises about sales or leads for either side.

Looking ahead: Quote Referral Partners

This program is not running yet. It's a plan for later, and nothing on this page signs you up for it.

We're planning a price-check tool at honestbobco.com that helps homeowners understand whether a repair or install quote is fair. As that grows, we'd like to add a referral partnership as the next step of the Trade Partner model.

How it would work: when a homeowner using Honest Bob Co needs a quote for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or similar work, we could point them to a partner company we trust. The partner would get a warm lead from a homeowner who's already looking for help, and Honest Bob Co would get a referral arrangement we'd agree on together.

How we'd keep it honest

  • We'd always tell homeowners clearly when a company is a referral partner.
  • Partners would be chosen for fair pricing and good service, not just for paying.
  • We don't promise any number of leads or any amount of work.
